Week 77 - Limay

ERIK AND AGUSTINA got baptized this week!!!!
YAYAYAYAYAYAYA! Thats supposed to be many "yay"s
This week was just very full of up and downs and crazy stuff.
We did three exchanges, o r on other words, we did not go a SINGLE night sleeping alone in our pension and on Friday night, our first night of peace, we got a phone call at 2 am saying that three wçsisters would be staying with us that night. It was a good week.
Also, there is a man in the ward who works for the marriage paperwork ofice here and said he would be able to get Jonathan and Yanina married before I go home and he told us they only needed their IDs and the birth cirtificates of their children. LIES! all of it was lies. So, we spant the week in different marriage offices- which were all going on strike- until we found one that would talk to us and when we did, found out, you actually need the birth certificates of the people getting married too and you need blood testa and everything. they will MAYBE get married the 20th of this month if everything goes as planned, but they are from Misiones Argentina so it might take a while to get their birth certificates.
Anyways.
This week was full of blessings and I am VERY happy in the work.
Thank you for all the prayers- keep praying for Jonathan and Yanina!

Jonathan and Yanina gave us shoes to match yaninas. Mine are the ones with the peach stitching, hermana farrs are the ones with the blue lines. Yaninas are the velcro ones. They gave them to us just for the baptism! So sweet. Just, bless their hearts.
Also, Erik and Agustina got baptized this week! YAY!!!!!
PS: Mama Farr, I hope you appreciate your daughters new fabulous shoes. She was running (litterally) all day in them.

Week 76 - Limay

So,Jonathan, Yanina, Erik and Yenifer are AWESOME!
Erik is getting baptized this week and Jonathan and Yanina will be married on the 12th or 13th and baptized on the 14th. PLEASE pray for them! Pray that tomorrow everything will go well in the paperwork process and that they can get their medical exams and stuff done in time to get married on that day! They went to general conference with us yesterday and loved it! It was Jonathan's first day in church because (like Quique in San AMrtin) he works security every other weekend. We are praying that his schedule will work out well so that they can get baptized and married as planned!!! So, please help us with your prayers! The picture is of us with them outside of the stake center. In order from left to right, its Erik, Jonothan, us with Yenifer and Yanina. You cant tell in the picture but Yanina is very pregnant haha
Also, agustina is getting baptized this week!
Also, we did intercambios with hermanas Silva and Aleman this week!
The Lord is great! I hope you could all watch General conference. If you couldnt... go watch it now!!!
Love you all!
Also, did I tell yall that Jonathan, Yanina and erik are my favorite people Ive met on my mission? They are right up there with Quique and Norma.
I love them. They are the best!
Also, did I tell yall about Leticia? Shes a good girl... but missing a few bolts you could say. she is a woman of about 25 years old. She got baptized just over a year ago.
So, our first lesson with her, I noticed an italian coffee maker. Also, we noticed when she opened her fridge to grab the water for us, an array of alcohol bottles haha As we left, I asked her about the coffee thing. She completely ignored it and pointed out a different machine ( a blender) on the counter and descibed what it did.
She is always really nervous when we teach her and just says "si... si hehehehe... si"
So, last week we taught her the word of wisdom. she said she was keeping it. But my companion and I both had the feeling that there was a man in the house. This day it was paticularly hot outside and she was wearing a scarf, as she turned to the side, we saw a HUGE hickey on her neck.
So, this past week, we atught her the law of chastity.
Still didnt quite sink in.
But the spirit is cool because we felt the things we needed to teach before seeing the evidence. Anyways. Love y'all!

Week 75 - Limay

This week was awesome! thank you all for your prayers!
We were teaching Jonathan, Yanina, and Erik this week (and jonathan and Yaninas daughter, jenifer. She is six) Jonathan and Yanina went to a baptism this saturday and they LOVED IT! When they looked at the font, Jonathan said, oh thats where well be" and she say "when we get married fisrt!" Theyre awesome and Yanina and Erik went to church yesterday! Theyre awesome! And Yenifer is so sweet! She loves church and puts on a dress whenever we go by to get them for church or baptisms or activities! So keep on praying for them that they can get married as fast as possible!
Also, we have a family of 4. the daughter, azul, is a member. The parents (Julio and eva) and their 8 year old son  (Benicio) are not but have known lots of missionaries. They just need to act. They read the scriptures and all, they just need to get married an baptized, so please pray for them too.
Then, we have agustina, the grand daughter of a member. She agreed to baptism yesterday and will be baptized on the 7th. She is 14. So, please pray for her too!
I love you all! thank you for all of your support and love!
Also, just so you dont think our mission life is sunshine and rainbows, yesterday we visited oscar. He is an investigator that has been to church a ton of times, read the entire book of mormon and STILL does not believe in any of it. His son, Evaristo, is very interested in the gospel and also has been to church many times. He is looking for a read answer, but he just moved to a different stake (reference for some other elders) and we went to visit oscar one more time just to see if he would change. We testified VERY strongly. The spirit was very present and my testimony of the preisthood and the importance of baptism was confirmed with every word we said. But, he just kept on saying that the preisthood and the holy ghost were the same thing, despite him admitting several times that it wasnt, he always went back to the fact that he recieved baptism and the preisthood when god healed his leg 30 years ago. It was a tough lesson and sad to leave him. We might pass by once more to see if he does the commitments.
Anyways, Have a good week!

I forgot!
Yesterday at abuot 7 in the morning, our downstairs neighbor showed up. She stumbled out of an old white car along with two other half-dressed girls and two teenage boys-- all intoxicated. VERY SAD. very funny. They were all SO drunk. They afterwards blasted music (we could not keep ourselves from noticing that they were new miley cyrus and taylor swift songs) and kept on drinking downstairs. Good stuff. Poor thing. We will try to teach her this week.

Hermana barbosa and HErmana Flores go home with me.
That is the letter from president full of my goals I have to put for my future-- my trunky letter-- I still hvent even touched it hahaa
Sergio got baptized this week! He was very ready, but we worked with him this week so that he could understand the importance of baptism and the book of m romon. The water heater in the church b roke before the baptism so he got baptized in cold water! Poor guy!
Also I was blessed to se hermana banuera in the terminal in Bariloche before I cam eup to the north! I LOVE HER!
All in all this week was great! Were walking around kind of like chickens with their heads cut off haha  we just get really lost and end up finding someone at about 8:30 at night! Its all perfect haha This week President told us that each companionship needs to have one baptism by the end of september. so we are working on that in our area and with the sisters:) We will probably be doing exchanges this week to help them! We are very excited:)
