Week 71 - Bariloche

This week, it snowed!
One of the pictures I sent you is of me and mty foot by a black thing outside of a house, that is the calefactors, or gas space heaters, and it lets heat out on the outside sometimes. We were freezing yesterday and put our hands on one to heat up for a bit haha
Also, the pictures of me on a beach is because our area also has all of the coast of the lake here and what you dont see in the picture is ALLLLL of the houses on the coastline haha They say that this lake does not have a bottom. No one has found the bottom yet and they say that it connects with the locness monster ake in another park of the world. Cool stuff huh?
This week was GREAT! We have 7 new investigators! FINALLY! Other weeks we only had 2 or 4. We found a family and a few other people! One person that we taught yesterday is named Manuel. He has read the pamphlets that missionaries give out before but never recieved the discussions. So, we taught him the restoration yesterday and he loved it! He finally understood the apostacy and why it is so important that we have prophets today. It was great!
Also, I have quite a big cold still. I cant sleep very well because I am coughing ALOT. but last night we went to bed early and this morning I took a nap. Aleluya! I feel a lot better but still on edge of being sick haha Thats basically it:)

Week 70 - Bariloche

This week
this week was insane.
We left for San Martin to do exchanges on Monday and got there for the Disctrict meeting. I was with Hermana Vieira and Hermana Gaertner was with her ex comp, Hermana Alder.
I wanted to see Quique, but he was working all day, but we had lunch with the oñates!
Our plan with going to San MArtin was help them with their investigators that can be baptized make that step, but they got a call on Tuesday morning saying that they were leaving that night to do paperwork for Passports and so we had to leave at like 5 or 6 from San MArtin to go to Junin. the appointments with the investigators were allllll at 6, 7, and 8 that night. So, bummer.
anyways!
We went to Junin and they are AWESOME! They have a littttttlle branch there that meets in a little house that I think I sent a picture of. I was with hermana Menezes.
they are having TONS of success and are really diligent and obedient.
We got back to our area on Thursday in the afternoon.
On Friday, We had exchanges with the sisters in Esquel. I went with hermana Rodriguez from brasil.
there was a ward baptism of an 8 year old this friday and they invited a TON of friends. at least 6 families. We got their addresses and have appointments this week with the members:) YAY!
Thats basically all this week:)

Week 69 - Bariloche

This week was good! We haad conference with President! I learned a ton! Talking to everyone. Also I learned how to get references from members better. I realized we are almost never direct with the memebers and since conference with president we have recieved quite a few references and the couselor in the bishopbric talked about how to give missionaries references in sacrament meeting yesterday! It was awesome! He said that the members need to be inviting freinds to their houses so tha çt we can teach them with them.
Also, we did exchanges with the sisters in Trevelin-- hermana Onofre and Slade. Theyre awesome!
Yesterday it rained and snowed almost all day and yesterday was the priliminary voting for the presidente of argentina so we had to go back to the pension by the time they announced the results.

These pictures are from her companions camera:

Week 68 - Bariloche

Okay, so this week was good! It was really hard but also really good! We had leadership counsel in Neuquen and I got to see HErmanas Brown, Ventura, Jarvis, and Barfuss. I love those girls! So, we worked hard this week and we had some crazy experiences!
We went to this lady's house that lives on a hill and we clapped the door and she came out and let us in. We got in the gate and she had this cute dog that looked REALLY beaten up. She told us it wasnt hers but it followed her home and she felt bad for it so shes letting it stay in the gate but outside of the house. When we went into the house, the dog FLEW in and started attacking their cat! The investigator was sobbing and we got the dog out, after it had knocked over the table, all of the chairs and almost the china cabinet. Then, we all sat down and the lady calmed down and all so we were about to start teaching and the dog started walking on her roof (because her house is in such a steep hill that you could just walk from the street right onto the roof). So, we got it to get out of the gate and all and FINALLY, we taught jçher.
Also, we always go to this same house. Its a place fully of little apartments. You walk into a door and walk down some sketchy stairs until you get to some apartments on the hill. We opened up the door yesterday and a dog, think that my step into the hosue was an effort to kick, bit my shoe! There is a bite mark in my boots! haha and then some other dog-- all at the same time-- that was wandering around in the street rubbed up against me. I relized a bit after that he was bleeding a TON and he had gotten blood on my dress. Good stuff.
I loev the people here. and the dogs. But you need to be careful with the dogs. You never knocçw when one willl be gushing blood or whne a little weener dog will bite your foot.
Also, the gospel is true and Jesus loves us. I know it.
Love, Hermana Sant
